[Devlog 0.13] Status Effect & Perfect Dodge
Perfect Dodge & Astral Time
We added a mechanic that is often found in Action games, Perfect Dodge. The main reference for perfect dodge here is Bayonetta and Punishing Gray Raven. Where when the player succeeds in making a perfect dodge, Slow Time will be activated for a few seconds.
Status Effects
Apart from that, in the update we added a very important system in RPG games, namely Status Effects. Almost all RPG games have a mechanism where units in the game can manipulate their opponent's attributes. Our programmer's main reference for this system is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
Shield & Stun
Next, we also added a Shield system for enemies. All enemies will have shields in this game, but not all have many shields. For small enemies, they will only have 2 shields. When the shield runs out (breaks) the enemy will enter the Stun state where they will receive a reduction in Defense points while in that State. Each enemy will have a different stun time depending on future balancing.
